Alcoholics Anonymous and Ala-non

Our church hosts AA meetings five days of the week.  Meetings are based out of the traditional AA books, and have seen significant growth in attendance over the many years that they have been held here.  Taken from the AA website (www.aa.org), "Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety."

The schedule for meetings is as follows: Mondays at 8:00 p.m., Wednesdays at 8:00 PM, Fridays at 7:00 p.m., Saturdays at 8:00 p.m.,  and Sundays at 3:00 p.m.  AA Meetings take place in the old fellowship hall and kitchen area, that are both located under the 1938 Chapel.  You can enter the church from a number of entrances and head for the "basement area" to find the groups.

We also host one night of Ala-non on Monday evenings at 8:00 p.m.  These meetings take place in the Bride's Room, which is located in the back section of the entrances to the main sanctuary.
