Cancer Support Group

The Cancer Support Group, organized in the fall of 1998, meets on the third Wednesday of the month (September through May) at 6:30 p.m. in the Bride's Room.  The purpose of the group is to offer encouragement and support to both long-term cancer survivors as well as those recently diagnosed.  Guest speakers share information on various topics such as nutrition, treatment options, and tips on finding the right doctor.  Each year group members sponsor a team in the Relay for Life, a walk-a-thon fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.  The group is open to the community.  For further information, contact the church office.
