Choir Adventures
Wednesday nights are packed with fun, learning and adventure for children ages 3 through 5th grade.
This year our children’s choirs will be introduced to the greatest mystery of all time — a mystery no one can solve! How can God listen to everyone’s prayers at once? How can God know how many hairs are on each person’s head? How can God be everywhere at the same time?
Our “choir detectives” will discover that God is too big to be explained. The mystery deepens when we learn this magnificent God wants to be our closest friend. Our mission will result in responding to God, The Wonderful Mystery, in worship!
Singing choirs for ages 3 through 5th grade meet first and learn musical concepts through games and movement. They participate in worship often and provide several programs throughout the year. After choir, children in second and third grades are invited to play chimes. No prior experience or musical training is necessary. Fourth and fifth graders can learn to play handbells. They’ll refine their music reading abilities and learn techniques to play and care for the bells. Younger children can enjoy stories, crafts and games at Discovery Club.

Kindermusik
Kindermusik is an international music and movement program for young children with a primary purpose of opening the doors for enjoyment of music. Kindermusik provides a rich assortment of musical activities designed to promote language development, symbolic thinking, coordination and social interactions, while cultivating the child’s imagination. When students complete the program sequence, they have the prerequisites for successful instrumental or vocal study. Musical concepts, listening CDs, instruments, and materials are all age appropriate, and for the children they are simply fun!
