Our Older Adult Ministry at FFUMC is a vital ministry. We strive to offer programs that will enrich and nurture the lives of senior adults both in our church and our community. As we encourage seniors in their spiritual walk with the Lord, we also affirm their grace and wisdom as they play a vital role in the life of our church. Please contact the church office at 770-461-4313 for more information.
AARP Driver's Course - May 8 at 9:30 a.m. The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's first and largest course for drivers age 50 and older. The program has helped millions of drivers protect their safety on today's roads. This 8-hour classroom refresher course will benefit drivers of all ages and our instructor, Brenda Dorsett, opens it to all ages for that very reason. Cost is $18 for non-AARP members and $16 for AARP members. Cost includes lunch. Everyone who is a paid participant in the class receives a certificate for their insureance company. Georgia State Law states that insurance companies must give you at least a 10% discount on your auto insurance for attending class. The certificate is good for 3 years. Sign up by calling Laura Cox at the church office.

Seasoned Singers
We have a great group of older adults that meet weekly on Tuesday at 1:30 pm Room B225 for fun, laughter, singing and fellowship. Occasionally they visit nursing homes or assisted living facilities to sing and share their joy. They also share their hearts with us in worship and Titus II. Email Tom Robinson if you would like to find out more.
