The church offers several opportunities for exercise and fellowship.

Body Recall is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 A.M. in the fellowship hall in 10-week sessions. Newcomers are welcome at any time.
Body Recall is a wellness education and exercise program that challenges people of all ages and at all levels of physical ability. Participants are taught that lifetime fitness can be achieved through a structured program of slow, natural movement that is safe and pain-free. The program addresses flexibility, strength, range of motion, balance, circulation, core conditioning and coordination as part of a total body workout. There is a focus on encouragement and acknowledgment, making students more aware of their bodies. Topics covered include falls and recovery, foot care, body mechanics, back health and relaxation. Joyce Mucha, Freida Everritt and Kristin Heiden are certified Body Recall teachers.
The following classes are available on a weekly basis. Instead of signing up for a particular class, you will be asked to purchase a fitness punch card for $20 which will allow you to participate in 10 class sessions of any format. Cards will be kept at the church and the participant will simply punch his or her card before each class. Cards can be purchased from the church office or during any of the fitness classes. Contact Kristin Heiden with any questions or childcare needs (kheiden@fayettevillefirst.com).
