Senior Pastor at Fayetteville First since June, 2005, Mark is an ordained elder of the North Georgia Annual Conference. Before coming to Fayetteville, his most recent appointments were at Embry Hills UMC in Dekalb County (1998-2005) and five years (1993-98) as editor of the Wesleyan Christian Advocate, the official newspaper for Georgia United Methodism. Earlier in his ministry he served at Newnan Springs near Chattanooga, Redan and Snellville.
A native of Ellijay, Georgia, Mark is a graduate of West Georgia College and Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He is married to Kathy Creasy Westmoreland and together they have two sons, Stephen and Matthew.

Kristin began serving her first appointment at Fayetteville First in June 2008 as a commissioned Deacon in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. Kristin graduated from the University of Georgia in December 2004 with a Bachelors degree in History and Spanish. She followed her undergraduate program with a Masters of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School with a concentration in Christian Education. Prior to her current appointment, Kristin worked as a Youth Director at Central Presbyterian in Athens, GA and a Ministry Intern at Athens First UMC in Athens, GA and La Estralla Resplandeciente in Stanhope, NC. Kristin was ordained a Deacon in Full Connection in June 2011.  Kristin is married to Chris Heiden.  They live in Fayetteville with their two dogs, Emmy and Rajko.

Jennifer Dakin Andone is a native of Roswell, Georgia.  "Jennie" earned her undergraduate degree at Stetson University with a minor in music and her Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology, Emory University.  She is an ordained elder who has served on staff at Mt. Bethel UMC and Mt. Zion UMC, both in Marietta, as well as Northbrook UMC in Roswell.  She has also served as pastor-in-charge at Fields Chapel UMC in Canton and Inman UMC in Fayetteville.
Jennie is married to the Rev. Herzen Andone, district superintendent of the Northwest District.  They have two sons, Dakin (18) and Dylan (15).

Rick Massengale is a native Atlantan and has a Bachelors of Music Education and a Masters of Organ Performance degree from Georgia State University. He started directing Church choirs at age 19, and has been Director of Music at FFUMC since 1999. While doing his graduate work he was tenor soloist at St. Paul's UMC in Louisville, KY. In addition, Rick is much in demand as a Jazz Pianist and is half of the popular duo, ‘Those Two Guys’ that performs regularly at the City Café in Fayetteville. Recently Rick performed the Poulenc Concerto for Organ and Strings with the Southern Crescent Orchestra at Spivey Hall.

Drew has been the Director of our preschool here at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church for two years. Drew finished Charleston Southern University in 1997 in Charleston, SC. She went on to teach middle school science for three years in Mt. Pleasant, SC. After having children of her own and because of her love for education, she began teaching preschool. She taught at the four year old pre-k level for seven years before being called back to her own church to take over as Director of the preschool and mother's morning out. She is also currently serving our church as Nursery Coordinator. Drew has been a member at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church since 2003. She is the proud mother of two beautiful girls, Kathryn, and Liza.

Joyce has been the Administrative Director at FFUMC since May, 1998. She previously served as Financial Secretary beginning in January, 1995. Joyce received her certification in church business administration from the National Institute in Church Finance and Administration through the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She has been designated as a Fellow in Church Business Administration by the National Association of Church Business Administration and the United Methodist Association of Church Business Administration. Joyce is also a Body Recall teacher. She is married to Chris Mucha (not the youth director) and together they are the parents of three adult children and grandparents to two beautiful little girls.
